It doesn't have to be an NVMe SSD, but a HDD of any kind will make the list painfully unplayable. For the downloads, you will need an extra 125GB- ideally you want at least 350GB total for install and for temporary Wabbajack work space. You will need at least 200GB of disk space on an SSD for the installation.
This could be completely out of field though as I don't have any lower end hardware to test it on.
